Cindy Roberts

Cindy owns and operates a small entertainment business call HYPE Enterprises.  HYPE stands for “Helping You Promote Entertainment.”   This business consist of the 2HYPE4U Karaoke Show, she created and published an entertainment trade magazine for a while called Be Part Of The HYPE Entertainment Trade Magazine that focused on local entertainment, networking and business “know-how's and the how-to's” and incorporated other types of entertainment services such as a small demo recording studio, provides sound for small events, backing tracks and gives vocal lessons.

Once a computer specialist by day, Cindy had entertained for years.  In her early years, Cindy started out as a competitive gymnast, dancer, and musician and just added singing to her resume in the last few years.  She is also an accomplish writer, publisher of her own entertainment trade magazine and an enterprising entrepreneur.

Cindy usually likes to work behind the scenes but now finds herself more and more in front of an audience. She has been singing with local bands and doing showcases. She has also sang background and/or has recorded with the world renowned William DeVaughn (Be Thankful For What You Got), Barbara Mason (Yes, I'm Ready) fame and has worked with the late Renee Diggs of StarPoint (Object Of My Desire) on a few projects in addition to working with several local acts. From time to time, Cindy has provided sound for the vocal group The Jewels (these ladies were the background singers for the late James Brown in the early years). She has worked with Mark Greene of The Moments (Love On A Two Way Street) on a recording project. Cindy has also been afforded the opportunity to be the karaoke host (Colored-okie as the call it) on the "Tom Joyner's Fantastic Voyage Cruise" and the "Tom Joyner's Family Reunion." 

2HYPE4U Karaoke Show

Karaoke has become very popular in the past few years, including the 2HYPE4U Karaoke Show. Karaoke is when amateur and sometimes semi-professional singers comes to the mic to sing songs provided by the host which then the show turns into a big production.  Everyone is a singer. We have a great selection of songs for any and everybody, young, old and in between.  Karaoke is not about how well you sing, it’s all about having fun! And that’s what we do, 2HYPE4U Karaoke Show specializing in having fun! However, you may want to know how to read a little because the words  do come up on the screen.  The best thing about karaoke is that anyone can try it.  Cindy encourages everyone to step up to the mic and have a good time.

2HYPE4U Karaoke Shows has been all over the place.  We have been requested to be at all kinds of functions, in and outside of the country as well as throughout the United States.  We have put on several weekly shows at bars, restaurants and lounges.  We also do private parties, conferences, corporate parties, cruises, get togethers, weddings, birthday parties, family reunions, house warmings', grand openings, picnics, senior citizen homes, children hospitals, stress relief seminars, holiday parties, etc.  Karaoke has been instrumental in putting on shows to showcase for very talented and aspiring singers and vocal groups.

As mentioned before, we are entertainers.  We put on shows.  We also have a host of other aspiring artists we work with on an as needed bases.  So if you are looking for a very entertaining show, we can do that too.
